Obituary
Franklin Neal Baber, age 71 of Alma passed away suddenly at his residence August 20th 2013. He was son of the late Woodroe Barber and Merle Crosby Barber.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy I. Crosby Barber of Alma, two daughters, Sharon Gillum (Keith) of California, Pennie Hernandez (Jose) of Brunswick, four brothers, Robert Barber (Louise) of Brunswick, Ronnie Boatright (Patricia) of Swainsboro, Donnie Crosby of Brunswick and Johnny Crosby (Rhonda) of Wrightsville, Ga., one stepson, Maurice Cummings of Brunswick, six step children, Pam Purvis (Whitney), Rebecca Clark (James), Raymond Crosby (Lesa), Patricia Schlosser (David), Shirley Crosby and Richard Ernest Crosby (Melissa), three grandchildren, Elise Gillum, Bailey and Angela Hernandez, 30 step grandchildren and 25 step great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 23rd at 3:00 PM at Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. R B Gaskins officiating.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
