John Franklin "Frank" Lee, age 85, of Alma passed away on June 4, 2021 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. Born on April 21, 1936 in Bacon County to Lemuel Sellers "Kit" Lee and Lorine Yawn Lee. He was a member of Old Pine Grove Church.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Vonnette Landrum Lee; seven brothers, John Quincy Lee, Taft Lee, Kermit Lee, James Lee, Grady Lee, Pate Lee and Eugene Lee and three sisters, Lucy Morris, Corrine Tucker and Mary Evelyn Hyers. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Dearl Lee, Jeffery Brian Lee of Alma and Franklin Kit Lee (Beth) of Nicholls and four grandchildren, Cheyenne and Abigail Lee, Addison Taylor and Camden Merritt.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Lee and Rev. Travis Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Elizabeth Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Lemuel Lee, Rusty Sears, Jody Johnson, Willis Courson, Ansley Courson and Body Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be; Pauline Turner, Betty Nettles, Wilton Starling, Carswell Griffin, Glynn Lee and the Staff of Twin Oaks Nursing Home.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
