Fredia Yvonne Thomas Skinner, age 69, of Alma passed away January, 13, 2024 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born July 12, 1954 in Bacon County. She was preceded in death by her father, William Darrell Douglas and husbands, Johnny Thomas and Omar Skinner.

Survivors include her mother, Nellie Faye Wade Douglas; brother, Wade Douglas (Kathy); sister, Susie Queen (Everett); three nieces, Felicia Millering (Thomas), Casey Smith (Chad), Heidi Taylor (Jeremy) and five great-nieces, Aubree Smith, Ava & Caroline Millering, Charley & Scarlett Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Ten Mile Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Ten Mile Baptist Church Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Taylor, Chad Smith, Glenn Carter, Jr., Jeremy Hood, Marshall Wade and Felix Castillo. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald & Nancy Hood, Donnie Eason, Bruce & Glenn Carter, Ben Boatright, Shirley Carter, Sandra Medders, Staff of Twin Oaks, Terry Hyers and Members of Ten Mile Baptist Church.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
