Gail Taylor, age 66, of Alma passed away on November 18, 2020 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah after a short illness. She was born in Coffee County on November 3, 1954 to the late Valene Murray and Eunice Lee Surrency Herrin.

She was a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Barney A. Taylor of Alma, two children, Derrick A. Taylor and wife Holly of Alma and Amy Gail Williams and husband Craig of Soperton, four grandchildren, Taylor Beckman Williams, Abigail Alia Williams of Soperton, Halston Derrick Taylor (Haley) and Olivia Grace Taylor of Alma, and sister Kathy Cothren and husband Larry of Nicholls.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 21st at 11:00 AM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Delk and Rev. Chris Callahan officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday at the cemetery from 10:30 AM until funeral time.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
