Wilton Gary Cooper, age 63, passed away June 12, 2018in Waycross, Georgia. Wiltonwas born on June 5, 1955 in Alma, Georgia to James Tillman Cooperand Roxie Maranda Smith Cooper. A daughter Carrie Sabrina Cooper, a grandchild, James Dalton Cooper, two brothers, James Terry Cooper and Donald Dyal, two sisters, Tammy Eulene Bagley and Patricia Ann McCance and his mother in law, Carrie Mobley Cothren preceded him in death. Gary served in the US Army, was retired from the Department of Transportation and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Freda Cothren Cooper, four children, Raymond Cooper (Christian Jones), Damon Cooper, Trevor Cooper Wrinn and Brandy Cooper all of Alma, two sisters, Courtney Gandy of Hortense and Linda Price of Brunswick and eight grandchildren, Desirae & Johnny Aston, Alyssa, Ariel Anna Marie, James Tillman, James Aaron and Gia Cooper.

Visitation will be held onFriday,June 15, 20186:00 PM atCrosby Funeral Home.

Services

Funeral Services will be heldSaturday,June 16, 201811:00 AMat Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home  with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Adam Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be; Brandon & Christopher Bagley, Brad Rogers, Chet Bullard, Eric Wrinn, Dalton Boatright, Chad Toler, Owen Atha and Jamie Wrinn. Honorary pallbearers will be; Members of Victory Baptist Church and all others in attendance.

Crosby Funeral Home, Inc. will be handling the arrangements.
