Gary L. Taylor, age71, of Alma passed away June 16, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida after a short illness.  He was born February 24, 1952 in Bacon County to Cecil Leonard Taylor and Winifred Rosa Stewart Taylor.

Mr. Taylor retired from Plant Hatch and was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Paula Taylor of Alma; daughter, Tessa Burt (husband Michael) of Warner Robins; three grandchildren, Annalese and Tristan Herrington and Brendan Burt; two brothers, Larry Cecil Taylor and Robert Taylor (wife Sheila) of Alma; two sisters, Peggy Peacock (husband Wayne) and Marie Diane Crews (husband Horace) of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Beach officiating. Interment will follow in Stewart Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be: Kevin, Shane and Joshua Peacock, Scott and Patrick Crews, Bubba Simmons and Harvey Cole. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements
