Obituary
Gene Autry Gill, age 77, of Nicholls passed away suddenly Monday, December 22nd
at his residence. He was a native of Ware County but had lived in Nicholls most of his life. Gene was son of the late Ellie Jay Gill and Catherine Youngblood Gill and was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Morgan Gill, daughter in law, Donna Baisden Gill, a sister, Katherine Youngblood. He was in the Pest Control business for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Gill (Patricia) and Glen Gill of Nicholls, two step-sons, Richard Lee Henry of Phoenix City, AL., and Gary Gill (Edith) of Olive Branch, MS., daughter, Donna Bonner (Jimmy) of Williston, FL., 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Dec. 27th at 2:00 PM at Hall Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Tanner officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 PM.
Active pallbearers will be; Wesley & Jimmy Gilliard, Dwayne Streat,
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
