Geneva O'steen, age 95, of Alma passed away January 15, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. Born in Ware County on October 4, 1926 to Dennis Sears and Lucy Rowell Sears. She was a member of New Union Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Claude Inman O'steen, Sr.; twin daughters, two sons, Claude Inman O'Steen, Jr. and Kevin O'Steen; brother, Coleman Sears, brother, Caulie Sears and three sisters, Russie Gilliard, Gertie Adams and Hazel Rollins.  Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Worth and Peggy Lynn Taylor and husband Lee of Alma; two sisters, Phanita Rife of Houston, Texas and Helen Rollins and husband Edward of Lake City, FL.; also 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
