George Dewayne Douglas, age 68ofWarwick, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 after an extended illness. He was born in Marion, North Carolinaon February 4, 1950to the late George Douglas Jr.and Jo Ann Vance Douglas. A granddaughter, Emily Daniels preceded him in death. He was retired from Miller Coors Brewery.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years Wanda Yawn Douglas of Warwick, GA., two children,George W. Douglas (Jessica) of Cordele, GA., Candice Cash (Ryan)  of Homer, GA. a brother, Mike Douglas of Alma, GA., two sisters,Lena Lynch (Dale) of Baxley, GA. and Susan Anthony of Hale Center, TX., 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, July  1, 2018 at 2:00 PMfrom the Chapel of Crosby Funeral home with Rev. Troy Daniels officiating.  Burial will follow at Douglas Family Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, July  1, 2018 from 12:00 PM until funeral time.
