George Stacy Swain, age 53, passed away suddenly March 29, 2026, at his residence. He was born May 17, 1972, in Appling County to the late Tracy Swain, Sr. and Susie Bennett Swain. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Estelle Leo Swain and sister, Cathy Meeks.

He is survived by his son, Bryan (Kaylon) Swain of Blackshear; brother, Tracy Swain, Jr.; sisters, Ginger (Ryan) Perry of Baxley and Gloria Diane Bass; one grandchild, Rosalie Swain; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 02, 2026, at 11 AM in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. R.B. Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until service.

Active pallbearers include Brandon Meeks, Mason Perry, Lawson Dixon, Billy Overstreet, Gary Overstreet, and Dustin King. All in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.
