George Franklin "Frank" Taylor, age 78, of Alma passed away November 25, 2021 at his residence after a short illness. Born in Bacon County on February 1, 1943 to Reppard Taylor and Mandie Bunton Taylor. He was a member of Elizabeth Chapel Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Julia Lynch and Rachel Waters; brothers, Marlow Taylor, Royce Taylor and sisters, Lavene King and Latrell Grossman. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Linda Ratliff Taylor; children, Charlie Taylor (Teresa), Delama Pearson Thomas (Richard) of Alma and Amanda Taylor (Roger) of Douglas; sister, Lavestle King Smith (Keen) of Dixie Union; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Elizabeth Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Shawn Capps, Jessie Pearson, Bubba Daivs, Bobo Davis, Greg Taylor, Jr., Joe Letterman and Junior pallbearers, Colton Bryant, Carter Hanna and Dillion Capps. Honorary pallbearers will be; Boatright Trucking and Anderson Trucking.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
