Georgia Lee Hall, age 86, of Hazlehurst passed away April 21, 2024 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County but had lived in Hazlehurst most of her life.

Mrs. Hall was employed with Hazlehurst Mill for many years and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Hazlehurst.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Herman Hayes and Gladys Lee Hayes; son, Harry Rigdon; grandson, Harry H. (Buckshot) Rigdon, II; and three brothers, Edward Hayes, Herman Hayes and Ike Hayes. Survivors include two sons, Neal Rigdon (Janet) and Stacy Hall of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Johna Starr Solomon (Ricky) and Sonja Rigdon of Hazlehurst; brother, Therman "Pet" Hayes (Janice) of Hazlehurst; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Roger Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Mims Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jackson Rigdon, Gabe Hall, Noah McNeal, Doc Hayes, Trey Rigdon and Tyler Smith. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
