Gerald Truman Rigdon, age 80, passed away on December 16, 2021. He was born on October 27, 1941 in Alma and graduated High School. He was a veteran of the Army and served 2 years and ranked as E-4 and exited with an Honorable discharge.

He farmed many years and then worked with Douglas Electric and plumbing until her retired. He and his wife moved to Kingsland where he lived out his days.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy Lewis Rigdon of more than 22 years; son, John Ray Rigdon and wife Kayla and three grandsons; two step daughters, Dallas Santiago and Millie Varnadore; brother, Randy Rigdon, sister, Connie Davis; also many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.

Mr. Rigdon was saved at age 80 and it's the family's request in of his Home-going to be with Jesus; that as he and wife attended Alma Church of God PO Box 364 Alma, Georgia 31510 to give to his former church rather than send flowers. This would be a legacy left by him and wife to the church.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home.
