Lillie Geraldine "Jerri" Fiske, age 81, of Alma passed away Tuesday, April 28th after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County, daughter of the late Elbert Meeks and Ethel Mae Taylor Meeks and preceded in death by a brother, Jevon Meeks, two sisters, Von Nell Edge, Gina Faye Spalding and a granddaughter, Amy Anita Meeks. She was a member of Wesley Chapel (Wolf Pit) Church.

Survivors include a son, Bobby Meeks of Waycross, daughter, Donna Bodnar (Thomas) of Nelsonville, OH., brother, Ronnie Meeks of Alma and a sister, Linda Taylor of Willacoochee, Ga., 5 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1st at Wesley Chapel (Wolf Pit) Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Danny Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf Pit Cemetery. The body will be carried to the church at 1:00 PM to lie in state. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Charles Edge, Timothy Waters, Ray Patrick, James Bennett, Wayne Parker, Jr., Ronnie Dawling. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
