Gidget Lataine Tanner, age 41, of Alma passed away suddenly Monday, August 12th. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Marvin Tanner, Jr.

Survivors include her mother, Ruth Mosley Tanner and step father, Johnny Peacock of Baxley, two sons, Houston Seth Jarrard (Shalie Nicole) and Tomee Kadin Courson of Alma and two sisters, Mary Kathi Parkerson of Alma and Janice Marie Davis of Baxley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Pet Hayes officiating and eulogy given by Joe Boatright. Interment will follow in Wolf Pit Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Shane Parkerson, Chris Taylor, Rodney Mosley, Buddy Kersey, Kyle Hutto and Dillon Peacock. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
