Glenda Faye Tuten Tanner, age 65 of Hazlehurst, passed away at on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Jeff Davis Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Alma, Georgia on July 27, 1952 to the Loyd L. Tuten and Thelma Elizabeth Taylor Tuten. Her husband Billy Ray Tanner and two sisters, Lavern Nettles and Brenda Gail Maycrink preceded her in death.

Mrs. Tanner is survived by four children, Heather Gilliard Lawrence (Devon) of Jacksonville, FL., Roy Lee Gilliard Jr., of Alma, GA., Dillon Chase Gilliard and Dalton Chance Gilliard, of Jacksonville, FL., four sisters, Louise Nettles of Homerville, GA. Patsy Tuten, of Jacksonville, FL., Shirley Paz (Victor), of Surrencey, GA. and Diane Tuten, of Hazlehurst, GA.; also 3 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Leon Lee and Rev. Bryan Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Crosby Funeral Home
