Grady Head, 71, of Alma passed away suddenly Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Waycross Health and Rehab. He was son of the late Roy Head and Frances Yeomans Head and preceded in death by a brother Julian Head.

Grady was employed with Lance Crackers for 45 years, was on the City Council for 16 years and was a member of the Alma First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife 50 of years Betty Henderson Head, children Stacy Head of Alma, Wendy Head Morris (Mike) of Waycross, brother Keith Head of Oak Park, GA., sister Linda Lee (Joe) of Nicholls, three grandchildren Kyle, Brooke and Carter Morris and 1 great-granddaughter Kylee Morris.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 20 ^th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Sweatt and Rev. Joe Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Unison Health Parent Organization of Alma.

Active pallbearers will be; Linton Henderson, Kyle Morris, Carl Leggett, Steve Crumpton, Robbie Harrington, Eric Crumpton, Kevin Head, Wayne Lee, and Ken Wade. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
