Greg G. Hawkins, age 63, of Jacksonville, FL died Thursday February 16th, 2017 at Lanier Manor of Jacksonville after an extended illness. He was a native of Jacksonville, son of the late Wilbur Newton Hawkins and Cathey Ussery Hawkins and was also preceded in death by a brother William (Butch) Hawkins. Greg was an elite contractor for many years.

Survivors include a son Andrew Hawkins of Jacksonville, FL, a sister-in-law Barbara Hawkins of St. Lois, MO and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. R B Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf Pit Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday from 9:00 A M until funeral time at 11:00 o'clock.

Active pallbearers will be Kevin Quinn, Joe Adams, Preston Andrews and Lester Eicher. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary.
