Greg H. Parker, age 55, of Alma passed Friday, April 5th at the Mayo Clinic in Waycross after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the Rev. Hilton Parker and Jean Thigpen Parker. Greg was a member of Old Pine Grove Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Melissa McLean Parker, a daughter, Meagan Leslie and husband Michael, a son, Matthew Parker, five grandchildren, Chloe & Caroline Crosby, Savannah, Bridgette and Parker Leslie all of Alma and one sister, Debbie Lee and husband Mike of Nicholls.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 7th at 2:00 PM at New Vision Church with Rev. Pet Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday evening between 6 and 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; David and Daniel Johnson, Travis Lee, Jay Graham, Dusty Cothern and Michael Leslie. Honorary pallbearers will be; Jackie Moore, Abe Richardson, Glenn Smith, Mark Mikell, Mickey Dixon, Greg Lee and Bill Rice.
