Guynell Aldridge Brunson Lott, age 77, of Alma passed away August 3, 2023 at Baptist Village after an extended illness. She was born December 17, 1945 in Appling County but had lived most of her life in Bacon County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius Mitchell Aldridge and Maggie Lee Taylor Aldridge; husbands, James Derriel Lott, William Walter Brunson and Quincy Franklin Williamson, grandson, Jesse Williamson, two sisters, Mary Ruth Yawn and Bobbie Jean Carter, brother, Charles M. Aldridge and son-in-law, Eddie Jones.
Mrs. Lott was retired from Flash Foods after many years and was a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her five children, Kenneth Franklin Williamson (Angela) of Kansas City, MO, Christopher Nathan Brunson of Swainsboro, Cherrie Nell Miller (Jesse) and Pam Jones of Alma and Michelle Thrift (John) of Blackshear; sister-in-law, Ann Aldridge of Baxley; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Delk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church Sunday from 2:00 PM until service time.
Active pallbearers will be: Chris Brunson, Matthew Williamson, David Wilkens, Jamie Miller, Billy Joe Miller and Mikey Williamson. Members of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
