Gynell Williams Beckham, age 70, of Alma passed away at her residence on June 23, 2022 after a short illness. Born in Bacon County on June 12, 1952 to the late Dewey Williams and Ruby Lord Williams. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Beckham, Sr., brothers, Bo Williams, Larry Williams and Gerald Williams and sister, Mona Williams.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicki (Shane) Johnson and Brandi Beckham of Alma; three sons, Chad (Vicki) Beckham of Blackshear, Stanley, Jr. (Melissa) Beckham and Chris (Becky) Beckham of Alma; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; eight sisters, Patsy Majors of Arkansas, Peggy Prince of Albany, Mary Lee Hoyle of Blackshear, Judy Delatte of Tennessee, Diane Edgar of Florida, Vickey (Billy) Trowell, Sheila (Johnny) Rewis and Mary Ann Williams all of Alma; one brother, Tim (Marty) Williams of Alma and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 26 th at 2:00 PM at New Lacy Church of God with Bishop R. B. Gaskins and Pastor Jamie Rivera officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be; Dylan Johnson, Devin Johnson, Cory Johnson, Dewey Beckham, Kevin Prince and Buster Majors.
Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
