Harold Wade, age 81, of Alma passed away June 12th at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Ware County but had lived most of his life in Bacon County. Harold was son of the late Peyton Wade and Mamie Sweat Wade; he was preceded in death by his wife Martha J. Wade, a daughter, Lisa Wade, three brothers, Marvin, Clayton and J. D. Wade and three sisters, Jessie Mae Carter, Luna White and Leola Smith.

Survivors include one brother, AC Wade and wife Dewayne, one sister, Arlene Good and husband Obed, two grandchildren, Marty Wasden and wife Wendy and Markie Williams and husband Clyde and six great-grandchildren all of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 14th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening between 6 and 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Marty Wasden, Clyde Williams and Mike Poole. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
