Helen Jean Lott, age 65, of Alma passed away July 14, 2023 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness.  She was born February 28, 1958in Plant City, Florida but lived most of her life in Bacon County. She was preceded in death by her parents, W. S. "Dude" Hilton and Vester Williams Hilton and brother Roy "Hotshot" Hilton.

Mrs. Jean worked in the Banking Business for at least 30 years and at Mid South Feeds the past several years. She was a member of Douglas Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Daniel Ben Lott, Sr.; daughter, Christy Swain Coggins; two sons, Daniel B. Lott, II (Dana) and Dusty R. Andrews (Erin); six grandchildren, Hunter Trowell, Daniel B. Lott, III, Ashleigh Andrews, Dustyn Andrews, Rily K. Andrews and Jett Lott; three great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Harrel Hilton (Jean) all of Alma; sister, Judy Adkins of Baxley.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Dusty and Erin Andrews 1612 W. 4th St. Ext Alma, GA.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 at 11:00 Am from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hutcheson, Rev. Randy Ray and Rev. Pet Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the Douglas Family Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Roy Hilton, Jr., Johnny Hilton, Robbie Hilton, Daniel B. Lott, III, Dustyn Andrews and C. J. Bullard. Honorary pallbearers will be; Donnie & Karen Eason, Keith & Cindy Taylor, Harvey Cole, Devin Grady, Anterrio "Church" Moore, Farm Bureau Directors and Employee, Staff of Bacon County Hospital, Dr. Harrison Carter and Staff and the Bacon County Class of 1976.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
