Henry Lee Clay, age 93, passed away at his residence on December 11, 2020 after an extended illness. He was born on January 6, 1927 in Logan West Virginia to Thomas Jenkins Clay and Abrilla Staten Clay. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Fabry Clay, son, Paul Richard Clay, a granddaughter, Melissa Yvonne Clay,  brother, James Allen Clay and sisters, Izetta Broughton, Maltie Sharp, Vivian Summerall, Minnie Mae Matthews and Regina Kelly.

Mr. Clay served in the US Army and retired as a Post Office Clerk; he was also a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include three children, Thomas Henry Clay and wife Eudene of Alma, Pam Lee and husband David H. both of Alma and Patricia Lynn Grosz and husband David of Tampa, FL., six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mr. Clay will be held Thursday, December 17 ^th at 11:00 AM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Horton and Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the cemetery Thursday from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
