Howard L. Johnson, age 57, of Alma passed away at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was born on November 19, 1960 to the late Lemuel Walter Johnson. He was a member of New Vision Church.

Survivors include his mother Katrina Hart Johnson, brother Harold Elvin Johnson, aunts, Linda Boatright (Bobby) all of Alma, Annie Johnson of Douglas and Lavada Cothern of Alma,  uncles, Bobby Hart of Alma, James Roy Johnson of Dawsonville, GA. and Darrell Johnson of Bartow, CA. and several cousins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 13 ^th at New Vision Church at 1:00 PM and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Jason Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be; Jamie Boatright, Archie Boatright, Wendell Hart, Bobby Hart, Marty Medders and Jason Gilliard. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
