Ida Pearl Andrews, age 85, of Alma passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. She was born on June 14, 1932 in Alma, Georgia to the late Ed Simmons and Ida Bell Moore Simmons. Ida was preceded in death by her husband Clyde C. Andrews, Jr., two brothers, Pete and Emmitt Simmons and five sisters, Iris Hutto, Gloria Trowell, Jackie Burkett, Nonie Mae Hutto and Wilma Holman. She was a member of Alma Church of God.

Survivors include five children, Eddie Andrews, of Alma, Cliff Andrews (Judy), Mark Andrews (Beth) and Sonya Edwards (David) of Nicholls and Craig Andrews of Alma, two sisters, Aletha Crosby of Alma and Mary Ruth Parish (Paul) of Callahan, FL., sister-in-law, Ann Simmons of Alma, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 21 ^st at 2:00 PM at the Alma Church of God with Rev. Craig Jump, Rev. Travis Peavy and Rev. Pet Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; J. W. Swain, Ronnie Boatright, David and Kevin Trowell, Mark McCarty and Scotty Burkett. Honorary pallbearers will be; Harriett and Linton Carter, Dailey and Sandra Wilson and the Adult Sunday Sunday_School Class.
