Inez McDuffie Sasser, age 84, of Alma passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence on Friday, May 4, 2018. She was born in Brantley County on July 17, 1933 to the late Ruel Ion McDuffie and Iva Laura Rowell McDuffie. Inez was preceded in death by her of husband of 62 years, Hubert Wesley Sasser. She was a member of the Alma First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her four children, Wendell Sasser (Buckie) of Nicholls, Kimmie Sasser (Sandra) of Alma, Glenn Sasser (Esperanza) of Brunswick, GA. and Renee Chancey (Wade) of Alma, two sisters, Louise Reha (George) of Delaware and Helen Chastine (Ron) of Oklahoma, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 7 ^th at 2:00 PM at New Vision Church with Rev. Pet Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Steven Sasser, Gregory Sasser, Nick Sasser, Keaton Sasser, Will Chancey and Kollin Mullis. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
