Irvin Clyatt Cason, age 70, of Alma passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Williston, Florida but had made Alma his home most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyatt Cason and Mary Weeks Geiger and stepfather Bill Geiger. Irvin was owner and operator of Joyce's Grocery for more than 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Boatright Cason of Alma; two son, Geoffery Cason (Sherry) and Kevin Boatright (Valarie) of Alma; daughters, Kim Papiernik (Chris) of Jacksonville, FL. and Stephanie Yawn (Ashley) of Alma; three sisters, Darlene Carson of Alma, Carol Jones and Ann Moody (Fred) of Chiefland, FL.; one brother, William Geiger (Connie) of Gainesville, FL.; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Cason Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Martha Memorial Church in Bristol with Bishop R. B. Gaskins officiating.
