Jackie Julian Tanner, age 75, of Alma passed away suddenly at his residence on January 3, 2021.  He was born in Bacon County on September 5, 1945 to Leonard Julian Tanner and Kizzie Cole Tanner. Besides his parents he was preceded in by his wife Laura Jane Denmark Tanner.

Mr. Jackie started his farming business around 1978 until today where he has chicken houses and blueberries. He enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycles' and his pets.

Survivors include two daughters, Georgia Ann Rodriguez (Andy) and Melody Lynn Haselden (J. R.) of Alma; sister, Sylvia Ann Gillis (Conway) of Waycross; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Campground Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Carver officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
