Jacklyn Nettles Carver, age 66, of Alma passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Coffee Regional Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on September 9, 1954 to Sylvester Nettles and Jean Carolyn Harper Nettles. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Lethea Nettles.

Survivors include three children, Heath Carver (Shawna), Stephanie Batten (Stephen) and Chris Carver of Alma, two grandchildren, Mia and Sam Carver, four brothers, Bo Nettles (Trudie), Shorty Nettles (Judy) of Douglas, David Nettles (Hanne) of Clarksville, TN. and Mike Nettles (Lynn) of Brunswick and a sister, Rachel Sutton (Lamar) of Douglas.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 5 ^th at 12:00 PM at Hall Cemetery in Nicholls with Heath Carver officiating and eulogy given by Trudie Nettles. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 11:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Ethan & John Nettles, Jackie & Scott Bennett, Van Jones, Gary Mikel, Amory Scoggins and Phil Carver

Honorary pallbearers will be; Tricia Scoggins, Louise Thomas, Dedria Colter, Pat Lott and Staff.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
