James Olin Anderson, age 87, of Nicholls passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after a short illness. He was born in Pierce County on June 20, 1930 to the late Thomas Prentice Anderson and Holly Mikell Anderson, besides his parents he's preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil Anderson, Art Anderson and Bernon "Bill" Anderson and four sisters, Olla Anderson, Lilly Ricketson, Alfie Mae Thornton and Suzie Pauline Groover.

Mr. Anderson is survived by a nephew, Jimmy Wayne Groover of Bellview, FL., a niece, Irene Stewart of Alma, several other nieces and nephews; also special friends, Jerry Hyers of Alma, Rickard Lambert of Douglas, Joyce Moore and Beverly Holton of Nicholls.

Visitation will be Monday, August 7 ^th from the chapel of Crosby Funeral from 12:00 PM until 2:00PM a graveside service will follow at 2:30 at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating.
