On February 6, 2024 James Cochran Clark passed away peacefully and exquisity in Jacksonville, Florida after a long illness.  James was born February 16, 1945 at Columbia Hospital in Washington, D. C. to his deceased dad, James Lawrence his mother, Frankie Waunee Cochran Clark and his stepdad, Merrill Corbin all of Statesboro, GA.

He leaves behind a sister, Lorna Clark of St. Augustine, FL and a brother, Joe Clark living in Australia and 3 nephews and 1 niece of his brother's children. He leaves also a wife Betty Gail Lee Clark of 30 years; 1 stepson, Chris (Sara); 2 granddaughters and 1 great grandson all of Jacksonville Beach, FL.

Jim and Betty moved to Alma, GA. 23 years and bought her mother and dad's home place. He was a member of Lee's Chapel Church. Also, he was an active member with the Masons and Knight Templar for over 50 years. He served as Secretary and Treasury in Brunswick, Alma and Waycross. He retired in 2003 after working 30 years with Division of Rehab Service of Brunswick, GA.

He was a wonderful husband, stepdad, papa and around good Christian man with everyone that met him. He will be missed everyday by everyone that loved him.

His memorial services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home in Alma, GA. No flowers (please). Donations will be appreciated in his name to the Masons or Knight Templar for their choice.

A meal will be provided for all to share immediately following the service at the Venue 517 W. 11th St. Alma, Ga. 31510

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
