Obituary
JAMES LARRY COTHERN, age 56, of Alma died Saturday night July 6st, 2013, at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County, son of the late James H. Cothern and was a member of New Lacy Church of God.
Survivors include his mother, Grace Cothern, a daughter, Windi Cothern, a brother, Bruce Cothern, a sister, Sherry Yearty all of Alma, four grandchildren, Mia and C. J. Preston, Adian and Addison Cothern all of Alma, a niece Shannon Crosby of Alma, and a nephew, Adam Yearty of Alma.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Sellers and Rev. Robert Varnadore officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening between 6 and 9 P M.
Active pallbearers will be, Mark Cothern, Brian Bagley, Charles Holland, Jerry Sweat, Mike Roppe and Roger Rigby. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary pallbearers.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
