James Morris Lott, age 65, of Nicholls passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 after and extended illness. He was born in Alma, Georgia on July 31, 1953 to the late Edward Clarence "E.C." Lott and Lucille Douglas Lott; besides his parents, his wife, Shonnie Delinda Brantley Lott, daughter, Jana Lucille Lott, brother, Edward Douglas Lott preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Penny Delk of Nicholls, GA., two children, James Morris Quarterman Lott of Alma, GA. and LaLaina Lott (Nigel Mohammed) of Orange Park, FL., a stepson, Issac Meredith of Nicholls, one brother, Daniel Benjamin "Ben" Lott, Sr. (Jean) of Alma, three grandchildren, Lillian Marley Delinda Crews, Allie Jay Kirkland and Ollie Meredith and a special aunt Retha McCorquodale of Nicholls, GA.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 20th at 11:30 AM at the Douglas Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Randy Ray officiating.
