James Ray "Jimmy" Tucker, age 83, passed away November 20, 2025, after an extended illness. He was born in Jacksonville, FL April 29, 1942, to the late Joseph Wade Tucker and Eleanor Ray Tucker.

He was a member of the Air National Guard.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances Gail Tucker; son, James Ray Tucker, Jr (Deon) of Alma; daughters, Kate Brigman and Meg Turner, both of Alma; five grandchildren, Tucker Brigman (Mallory), Maggie, Matthew, and Max Turner, and Ray Tucker; two great-grandchildren, Boone and Rome Brigman; and brother, Wade Tucker (Helen) of Sarasota, FL.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 6-8 PM.
