James Curtis Revels, age 34, of Alma passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Douglas on July 22, 1983 to the late Randy "Pepper" Revels, besides his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Shannon Revels and grandfather, Bill Peagler.

Survivors include his mother, Sherry Kirby Revels of Alma, maternal grandmother, Lavern Peagler of Waycross, fiancé, Valarie Griffin, five daughters, Madison Revels, Alexis Dowling, Haven Carver of Alma, Jade Dowling and Mackinsley Revels of Waycross, a niece Faith Revels of Alma and a stepdaughter, Kamdyn Williams of Baxley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5 ^th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour before the funeral.

Active pallbearers will be; Hoyt Boatright, Tim Taylor, Josh Walker, Joey Anderson, Anthony Anderson and Stephen Spell.
