James Scott Rewis, age 29, of Alma passed away suddenly Friday, November 8th at his residence. He was a native of Ware County but had lived in Alma all his life. Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Preston & Oveda Rewis and maternal grandfather, Willie J. Hyers.

Survivors include his parents, James Ronnie Rewis and Bonnie Hyers Rewis of Alma,
girl friend, Casey Wheeler of Alma two sisters, Daisha Rewis Hall of Alma and Shanna Rewis Louque (Ronald) of Phenix City, AL., maternal grandparents, Carl & Florence Rigby of Alma, great-grandmother, Aline Hyers Goodbread of Baxley, close friend, Cody Herrington of Alma, four nieces and nephews, Haley Dover & Winston Hall, Jr. of Alma and Lanie & Joshua Louque of Phenix City, AL.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, Nov. 10th at 2:00 PM at Damascus Cemetery with Bro. Joe Manning officiating. There will be no public visitation.
