James Thomas Taylor, Jr, age 57, of Alma passed away suddenly January 19, 2023 at the Bacon County Hospital. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the James T. Taylor, Sr. and Brenda Taylor. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Barbara Ann Taylor.

Survivors include two son, Jeremy Taylor (Heidi) of Alma and Matthew Taylor of Douglas; four grandchildren, Charley, Scarlett, Jaedyn and Bentley Taylor; brother, Brad Taylor (Casey) of Alma and two sisters, Teressa Taylor of Douglas and Crystal Kirkland (Brutus Barber) of Alma.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
