Jane Boatwright, age 73, of Alma passed away September 9, 2026, at Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was born February 13, 1953, in Rockingham, North Carolina to Rabon Wilton Pittman and Minnie Ree Wilson Pittman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Alvin Simmons and Crystal Hall and brother, Charles Pittman. Survivors include three sons, Davey Simmons of Douglas, James Simmons of Middleburg, FL and Stacy Boatwright of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Dillon Hall, Michael Hall and Brandon Hall of Alma; other grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee; brother, Gene Pittman of Rosemount, MN and sister, Margaret Faye Sapp of Swainsboro, GA.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
