Janice Johnson Rigdon, age 64, of Waycross, passed away suddenly at her home on April 9, 2024. She was a native of Bacon County and the daughter of the late Carroll and Lucille Tanner Johnson. She is also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Carolyn Daniel and Jackie Pickering.

Survivors include her husband Richard "Ricky" Rigdon, son Tyler Tinsley of Dawsonville, stepson Rick Rigdon (Elizabeth) of Blackshear, 3 grandchildren, Madelyn, Trenton, and Carter Rigdon, uncles Bobby Boatright of Alma, Roy Johnson of Dawsonville, and Darrell Johnson of Bartow, California, aunt Annie Merle Johnson of Douglas, sister in law Becky Hayes of MacClenny, Fl, and niece Missy Wallace of Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12th at 11 AM, in the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. T.F. Yawn officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until funeral time. Active pallbearers will be Rick and David Rigdon. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escort. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
