Jarod Clifton Taylor, age 24, of Alma passed away Monday, August 20th. He was a native of Ware County but had been living Alma. Jarod was preceded in death by a daughter, Robyn Taylor. He served in the US Army and was a member of First Community Church.

Survivors include his father, Burtis C. Taylor of Hazlehurst, mother, Debbie Jones Medders and husband Robin of Alma, wife, Kendra Taylor of Nicholls, two sons, Payton Taylor of Nicholls and Terry Blake Brown of Alma, four brothers, Robin Kody Medders, Kyran Boady Medders of Alma and Kyle Lee Taylor & Christopher Toler of Hazlehurst and two sisters, Gladys Elizabeth Shaw of Alma and Brook Logan Taylor of Hazlehurst.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 AM at First Community Church with Dr. Dale Carver and Pastor Marty Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Meeks Cemetery. The body will be carried to the church at 10:00 AM to lie in state. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Chris Palmer, Dillon Tillman, Jeffrey Pruitt, Armando Martinez, Haden Anderson and Zeak Mullis. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
