Jason Edwin Lewis, age 43, of Alma, passed away suddenly Tuesday July 25, 2023. Jason was a native of Bacon County and the son of Edwin Lewis (Gina) of Alma and Karen Dian Martin Thompson of Blackshear.

Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Tommie Lewis and his maternal grandfather Woodrow Bagley.

Jason is also survived by a son Jason Ridge Lewis of Alma, daughters Savannah Scott of Alma, Jansyn Lewis of Mt. Vernon, and Jayce Hall (Tanner) of Baxley, brothers Christopher Dale Lewis of Alma and Michael Twiggs (Shannon) of Bethlehem, sisters Becky Lewis Arrington and Erica Steedley (Sonny) of Alma, paternal grandmother Wilda Rea Lewis of Alma, maternal grandmother Doris Bagley of Waynesville and his God child Victoria Kate Chaffin.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday July 29th at 11 a.m. at Wolfpit Church Cemetery with Rev. T.F. Yawn and Rev. Danny Turner officiating. Active pallbearers are Dale Lewis, Morris Chaffin Cricket Taylor, Christopher Lawrence, Ted Tanner, and Chuck Peacock. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9:30-10:15 A.M.
