Jason C. Scott, age 44, of Nicholls passed away on January 10, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital.

Jason was son of the late Harry Scott and preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Clark Scott and Evelyn Scott, maternal grandparents Vernon and Ethel Taylor and close friend Willie Linder.

Survivors include his mother Trisha Moore, brother Johnny Scott, sister Kasey Newberry, nieces and nephews Savannah Scott, Raygin and Raymond Newberry all of Alma.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 17 ^th at 2:00 PM at the Douglas Family Cemetery with Rev. Mike Lee and Rev. Greg Delk officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the cemetery from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
