Jean Elaine Carruth, age 91, passed away at her son’s residence on September 16, 2026, after an extended illness. She was born October 27, 1934, in Seminole County, FL to the late Randall Dike and Bessie Tuck Dike. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Carruth; her brother, John Dike; and sisters, Mary Johnston and Carolyn Michaels.

She attended Aloma Baptist Church for many years and served as their secretary.

She is survived by her three sons: Stanley Glenn Carruth (Ruby D. Domacena Carruth), Michael Carruth, and Stephen Wayne Carruth (Sheila J. Stillwagon Carruth); grandchildren, Jason Glenn Carruth, Zoey D. Domacena, Charity A. Carruth Drake, and Corey W. Carruth; great-grandchildren, Karie L. Peters, Zander Wrinn, Trevor Cooper Wrinn, Hannah M. Drake Lisko and Shannon L. Drake.

Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Winter Park, FL.
