Jean Reese, age 80, of Yulee, Florida passed away March 13, 2022 at the Jane and Bill Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida after an extended illness. Born in Appling County on September 22, 1941 to Lambert Lamar Callaway and Audrey Mae Carter Callaway. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Reese; brothers, W.L. Callaway, Dan Callaway, Tommy Callaway and Ricky Callaway and sister, Josephine Moore. She was a member of Black Rock Baptist Church.

Survivors include two children, Ronald Neal Reese and Constance Ingle of Yulee, FL.; sisters, Geradine Daniels, Lorene Miller of Hortense, GA. and Christine Downs of Callahan, FL.; three grandchildren, Christopher Neal Reese, Justina Marie Morgan and Christy Ingle and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Morgan, Hartley Ingle and Braxton Morgan.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor John Casper officiating. The family will be receiving friends Friday from 12:00 PM until funeral time. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
