Jeana Hill Thornton, age 43, of Alma passed away Sunday, March 6th at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jim and Louise Rozier and maternal grandparents, Shug and Jones Smith.

Survivors include her parents, Jimmy Hill and Pat Smith Hill of Alma, her spouse, Kristi Roberts of Alma, a son, 1st Class Petty Officer Michael G. Thornton, US Navy San Diego, CA., three daughters, Skyla Thornton, L.P.N. (Josh Griffin) of Baxley, Sarah Roberts and Madison Roberts of Alma, one sister, Kim Connell (Chad) of Alma, three grandchildren, Alexis Marie Kirkland, Mason Garrett Kirkland and Landon Michael Kirkland; also 3 nieces and several aunts and uncles survive.

A memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 8th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home.
