Jeannine Williams Taylor, age 80, of Alma passed away October 13, 2023 at Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Loy Williams and Mamie Clements Williams. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Thompson; sons, Mark and Blake Thompson; brother, Delmus Williams and sisters, Lillie Williams and Jackie Bagley.

Survivors include two children, Marshall Thompson (Rhonda) and Debbie Hyers of Alma; two sisters, Bonnie Williams of Alma and Cathy Burnett (Larry) of Guyton; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson and 4 special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11:00 from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. T. F. Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10:30 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be: Austin Hyers, Joe Dodd, Kyle Hyers, Sam Johnson, Blayden Johnson and Ronnie Hyers. Honorary pallbearers will be; Staff of Twin Oaks Nursing Home and Bacon County Hospital.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
