Jeffery David Jump

Jeffery David Jump, 61, of Montgomery County, passed away on September 3 of

2023 after an extended illness.

Jeffery David Jump was born on May 19th of 1962 to Herman Lonnie Jump, Sr.

and Mary Smith Jump in Macon,Ga. He was a Jeff Davis County native but in his

later years, made his home in Montgomery County. In 1997, Jeff met Janet Curtis

in Appling County, who later married on June 28th, 1998. Throughout his life, Jeff

has been a jack of all trades, predominantly a pipefitter, but most of all, a beloved

husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Jeff was also a devout fisherman who enjoyed making others laugh and being outdoors. Mr. Jump passed away in his home after an extended illness on September 3 of 2023. He is preceded in death by Herman Lonnie Jump, Sr. (Father), Mary Smith Jump (Mother), Herman Lonnie Jump, Jr. (Brother), Danny Bo Jump (Brother), and Teresa Jump Quarterman (Sister). Jeff is survived by Janet Curtis Jump (Wife), Sondra Partin (Sister), Mary Dianne Cox

(Sister), Brianna (Jack) Havatian (Daughter), Jamison (Diane) Stewart (Step-Son),

Shannon (Deborah) Stewart (Step-Son), and Ryan Stewart (Step-Son). He is also

survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several special

nieces and nephews, including Candice Jump, Shauwn Powell, and Lance Partin.

Services will be held at Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery in Alma, Ga on

September 6th, 2023 at 1100 with Rev. Wayne Woods and T-Boy Carter officiating. Active pallbearers will be Lance Partin, Shauwn Powell, Asher Stewart, Jordan Stewart, Logan Stewart, and Logan McRea. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff and Charlene Hamn.
