Jennifer L. Carter, age 69, of Alma passed away suddenly April 7, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after and extended illness. She was born on October 12, 1952 in Lafayette, Georgia and lived most of her life in Alma- Bacon County. She was daughter of the late Jessie James Wilson and Mamie Taylor Wilson and preceded in death by three brothers, Jesse Trenton Wilson, Irwin Wilson and Warnell Wilson; three sisters, Betty Rewis, Patricia Davis and Lucy Stoker and sister-in-law, Marlene Eason. She was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Lanny Carter, Sr.; two children, Lanny Carter, Jr. (Donna) and Rebecca White (Stan) of Alma; stepdaughter, Ashlyn Brooke Lee of Florida; brother, James Wilson of Trion, GA.; sisters, Mary Marr (Jim) of Smyrna, DE., and Glenda Rowe (Steve) of Lafayette, GA.; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial services will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the home of Lanny Carter, Jr. 330 Johnson Lake Rd. Alma, GA.
