Jerald (Jerry) Howard Holland, age 76 of Alma, passed away on July 14, 2021. Born in Bacon County on April 14, 1945 to Howard and Margarete Hall Holland.  He was a 1963 graduate of Bacon County High School. Jerald was a member of Tenth Street Church of God, served in the United States Air Force, and retired from Satilla R.E.M.C. after 42 years.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Linda Jean Holland of Choteau, MT; two children Howie (CaTina) Holland of Alma and DeAnna (Charlie) Powell of Alma.  Six grandchildren Kenley and Nolan Powell, Hannah and Hope Holland, and Courtney and Chase Mobley. Three great grandchildren Marley Kate and Jake Chancey, and Maddison Mobley.  He also leaves behind four siblings, Roger Holland of Alma, Larry (Annette) Holland of Alma, Karen (Donnie) Eason of Alma, and Keith Holland of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11 AM  at Tenth Street Church of God in Alma with Richard Davis and Edmund Thrift officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Crosby's funeral home Friday from 6-9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be: Jason Holland, Trevor Holland, Jamie Moore, Samuel Tanner, Jerry Walsh, Keith Holland, Larry Holland, and Roger Holland. The Bacon County Class of 1963, the Hardee's Breakfast Club, and past and present employees of Satilla R. E. M. C. will be considered honorary pallbearers.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
